Dale Yoo

Managing Partner and President, Board Certified Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist

Dr. Yoo started Heart Rhythm Specialists in 2019 in order to integrate state of the art science and technologies with the personalized approach to clinical medicine. With his extensive background in engineering and research he has been able to create a new kind of practice to cater to the specific needs of the human condition. He enjoys playing golf and tennis as well as traveling the world teaching and sharing knowledge.

Lori Thompson
Nurse Practitioner

Lori Thompson is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Heart Rhythm Specialists. She received her MSN at the University of Texas in Arlington and BSN at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She enjoys being part of a cohesive team working toward the common goal of providing superior care for patients and families. 
Lori believes patient education is paramount to providing excellent care. Superior outcomes are achieved when patients feel listened to and valued in order to collaborate on an indivualized plan of care. She has lived in the DFW area for over 18 years. She is married with two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and reading.

Mary Susan Williams

Nurse Practitioner

Mary Susan received her Masters of nursing degree and nurse practitioner certification from Texas Woman’s University in 2011. She began her nursing and nurse practitioner career at Parkland Hospital. It was there, that she discovered her love for cardiology. She has worked at HRS since its beginning in 2019, and has worked with Dr. Yoo in EP Cardiology since 2014. She enjoys caring for and educating her patients and their families about electrophysiology and their specific conditions. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids, Arkansas Razorback sports, and traveling.

Avery Jaster

Genetics Specialist
Avery joined the team in January 2021. She has a passion for cardiology and plans to further pursue a career in electrophysiology. Some of her interests include implantable devices, nonischemic cardiomyopathies/heart failure, genetics, persistent arrhythmia, athletic/performance screening, and research. She has a background in business and is currently finishing her bachelors in Health Sciences before continuing her education. She fills many roles at our clinic, including scribing and charting for Dr. Yoo, running our Genetics clinic, managing the HF clinic under the oversight of our practitioners, providing patient education, checking devices when needed, and assisting with research/projects/papers. Outside of the office, she enjoys putting time into further projects and research, spending quality time with family, outings with friends, traveling, and heading to the barn to ride her horse.

Autumn Lopez

Lead Medical Assistant
Autumn joined the HRS team in March 2020. She ventured into the healthcare industry to help and teach others. At the clinic, she does it all. She manages the clinic team’s assistants, creates schedules, and monitors all clinic practices. She accurately documents any and all cardiac & sleep apnea diagnostic reports. She assists the practice in managing all tasks of records keeping and reconciliation. She stays busy exploring holter monitoring devices and stays up to date with current technology. Her EP interests include arrythmia management, studying cardiovascular diagnostics all while living witness to the healing process of patient care.   Outside the clinic, you might find her at the lake with her friends and family. Majority of her time is spent with her two sons and grand-babies.  

Jaclyn Olson

Medical Assistant
Jaclyn joined the HRS team in May 2021. She immersed herself into healthcare with her passion & drive to help others. She graduated Collin with her Associates in Science. At the clinic, she acts as a medical assistant. She assists providers in performing vitals, medication verification, preparing records for cardiovascular procedures, applying holter monitors to patients, and performing electrocardiograms. She is the one coordinating with your benefits department for your time off due to your cardiac procedures. She stays busy navigating & educating patients on the latest hybrid therapy treatment for atrial fibrillation. She will explore financial assistance programs to assist in your medication therapy. Her interests in EP include rhythm management and researching clinical trials.
Outside of work, you will find her baking, walking park trails, or reading while sunbathing on the beach.

Ashley Worthington

Medical Assistant
Ashley joined the HRS team at the beginning of January 2022. Her background begins assisting in labor & delivery, exploring the world of ophthalmology with lasik care, to her current adventure into electrophysiology. Ashley began in administration, but successfully transitioned to the clinic as the newest medical assistant. She spends time accurately computing extended cardiac monitoring reports & explaining treatment procedures and medication therapy with patients. Her day to day duties include documenting vitals, medication verification, and performing all preliminary intake prior to exams with providers. She holds education in nutrition therapy and manages/operates the clinic’s patient and provider communication system. Her interests in EP include arrhythmia management & studying cardiovascular diagnostics. She spends her time away from the clinic volunteering with her church, spending time with family at parks, and roller skating.
