COVID-19 Vaccine Information

At this time we strongly encourage high risk patients who are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

02.05.2021 Update

At this time our team at Heart Rhythm Specialists continues to see patients both in office and via telemedicine platforms. All patients seen in office will be screened upon arrival for fever and will be required to fill out the questionnaire below. In addition, patients and staff will be required to observed CDC social distancing guidelines and wear masks during the entirety of the clinic visit. All patient rooms and waiting areas are disinfected after each visit.

7.13.2020 Update

The team at Heart Rhythm Specialists is taking the following precautions to keep our patients and staff safe in the midst of the increasing case volume.

At this time we are transitioning the majority of our office visits to our telemedicine platforms and are limiting the number of in office visits. All patients seen in office will be screened upon arrival for fever and will be required to fill out the questionnaire below. In addition, patients and staff will be required to observed CDC social distancing guidelines and wear masks during the entirety of the clinic visit. All patient rooms and waiting areas will be disinfected after each visit. 

We want to assure all of our patients that our team is available and dedicated to continuing to provide quality care to you and your families during this difficult time. 5.19.2020 Update

Heart Rhythm Specialists continues to monitor local updates and recommendations. We will continue to limit the number of patients seen in the office each day. In person office visits will be determined on a case by case basis by Dr. Yoo. In addition, Dr. Yoo continues to be available for all other office visits via telemedicine. Please contact our front office to schedule an appointment with Dr. Yoo.

 In accordance with federal guidelines, Dr. Yoo is now available for elective hospital procedures. COVID-19 screening is required prior to all hospital procedures. Please contact our office for more information.

Heart Rhythm Specialists is very excited to announce that we now offer transthoracic echocardiograms in our office! Please contact our front office for more information or to schedule an echocardiogram.

4.02.2020 Update

Heart Rhythm Specialists continues to monitor local updates and recommendations. At this time we are able to conduct virtual office visits with our patients, but we are only seeing urgent patients in our office. If you need to speak with our providers please call our front office to set up your virtual visit. In compliance with federal and state hospital regulations, we are still postponing all elective procedures until further notice. 

 At this time we recommend that all our patients wear masks anytime they leave their house due to recent research on air transmission via breathing and talking. For more information about protecting you and your family please see the CDC’s recommendations below. 

3.24.2020 Update

As further restrictions and shelter in place policies go into effect DFW, we want to inform our patients of the best ways to get in touch with our office. As an essential business, Heart Rhythm Specialists will remain open, but we will not be seeing routine  patients in the office until after April 5th, contingent on CDC city ordinances. However, to ensure that our valued patients have access to our providers and the care they need, our staff will be available via telemedicine visits and phone calls. If you have an urgent issue and need to set up an office visit, please call our front office. We are also available via text message or through the Athena patient portal. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this challenging time!

3.16.2020 Update

Due to the recent news updates on Covid 19/Coronavirus, Dr. Yoo and the HRS team strongly feel that it is in the best interest of the patients and our staff to postpone all surgical procedures at the hospital until April 6th. We will also be postponing all office visits until April 6th.

 We will resume clinic and hospital schedules as normal after this date, pending no further updates and social distancing is recommended. We will call you to reschedule your appointments as soon as possible. Recommendations are changing daily and updates will be available here, on our website as often as necessary. 

Please keep in mind our current clinic call volume is high, however we are happy to help you with urgent or emergent cardiac needs. We are also available via text message or through the athena patient portal.
